Peter Stanton | Sports Physiotherapist
Sports Physiotherapist Peter Stanton has gained considerable experience working with athletes and teams over many years, and now enjoys providing an ‘overcoming dysfunction’ approach via SSSP to people of all levels of activity.
Peter spent 10 years working at the Australian Institue of Sport in Canberra, and among other things has provided sports physiotherapy services with Australian Teams at 3 Olympic Games, 3 World Athletics Championships, 2 Commonwealth Games, 2 World Triathlon Championships, and 2 World University Games along with touring internationally with Athletics, Triathlon, Cycling, Basketball, and Netball.
On the home front Peter took on the role of Medical and Performance Coordinator at The Brisbane Lions AFL team in 1999, coached by Leigh Matthews, setting up a medical support team that helped the players manage and prevent injuries during the historic ‘three-peat’ premierships (2001-2003), leaving the Lions after the 2006 season.
Peter has also worked nationally with The National Basketball League (6 years), coordinated the physiotherapy services for both Athletics Australia (5 years) and Triathlon Australia (3 years).
He is currently enjoying regaining some family time and setting up specialty physiotherapy services after spending 2 years as Head of Sports and Sports Medicine at Geelong Cats AFL Club.
Peter has also lectured both nationally and internationally on many aspects of injury analysis and treatment.

Ned Harris Physiotherapist
Ned completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University and brings a strong foundation of evidence based care to SSSP.

He is passionate about guiding clients through the full rehab journey, from initial injury management to a safe return to activity, sport and performance.
Having previously played VFL football with both Geelong Cats and Footscray Bulldogs, Ned has first hand experience with the demands of high level sport. This background gives him unique insight into athlete specific rehabilitation and performance needs.
More recently Ned has applied his knowledge whilst working with the Geelong Cats AFL team and the Philippines Men's Lacrosse team at the Asia-Pacific Championships.
